Higher education and critical research are under attack. The Trump administration and Republicans in congress are attempting to eliminate billions of dollars in critical federal research funding to advance their extreme agenda and finance tax breaks for the wealthy. In the coming weeks, UAW members across California will be hosting events with our congressional representatives to call attention to science funding in the upcoming appropriations process. It will be critical to show up in strong support to save scientific research.
