RPSP-UAW Bargaining Survey
With over 7,000 Research and Public Service Professionals (RPSPs) across the UC system, it’s critical that we identify our shared priorities. This survey is a first step toward that goal, as we continue to build a broad, well-informed network of staff ready to make advancements in the workplace.

The survey takes ~4-6 minutes to complete and spans issues from the following categories:

Building a Stronger UC Together

Based on data from previous contract negotiations, an overwhelming majority of workers participating in the their union encourages management to bargain efficently and do so fairly. Now that we've won our union, it's time to prepare for next steps and continue to grow our networks and our power.
I will share this survey with my coworkers.I want to learn more about organizing for a strong union contract.

Unions, including UAW, have a long history of advocacy on a range of political and human rights issues. Our active participation in these movements to ensure a just and sustainable future at our workplace and beyond is essential to make progress towards that shared vision. Unfortunately, we now face a federal administration that is infringing upon our rights and rapidly dismantling the social and scientific programs that keep our public institutions healthy and well-funded. Instead, we see the Trump administration bolster and invest in companies and programs that fuel war at home and abroad.
I want to organize with our union to protect free speech, political activism, and academic freedom on campus.I want to organize with our union to ensure our retirement funds are invested in funds free from companies fueling war and occupation.I want to organize with our union and other organizations on and off campus in support of Palestinian liberation.
