Help Preserve Life-Saving Research and Defeat the Federal Government’s Attack on California
The Trump Administration has suspended hundreds of millions of dollars in research funding bound for the University of California system and other California universities. Not only this, but they have throttled funding that has already been allocated and they propose to eliminate over $32 billion in public support for scientific research from the federal budget. It’s time for California to commit to funding critical research itself.

The California Science and Health Research Bond Act will establish the California Foundation for Science and Health Research. From finding new cures and treatment to diseases like Cancer and Alzheimer’ – to protecting our state from wildfires, climate change, and from new emerging infectious diseases – this funding and foundation will keep California on the forefront of scientific inquiry.
